In cooperation with various partners from industry and research, we develop innovative products, especially using shape memory alloys (SMA). With this smart material, actuator systems as well as sensors and damping systems can be implemented. In addition to their robustness, SMA-based systems are characterized by a small installation space requirement, low weight and noiseless operation. SMA also have a self-diagnostic function, so that digitization efforts down to component level are supported by using this extraordinary material.
